Tipping points: News for September 2018

The mainstream media continues ever-so-slowly to comprehend tipping points such as the potential for stored carbon in the Arctic, on both sea and land and contained in methane as well as carbon dioxide, to be released in colossal scales as permafrost melts. Anyway the shipping industry is in luck, for now. NPR News reports that Denmark's Maersk, the world's largest container ship line, is heading into the Arctic to ply the newly free passage to China via Siberia.
