Ice and sea level: News for September 2018

The melting of the Arctic sea ice continued of course, but with a new cause for greater concern: A region of ice adjacent northern Canada which was seen as the most resilient of all the ice, has broken free and its slow disintegration has begun. And in the United States the media is reporting that studies of coastal land values have shown that rising sea levels have already impacted on property values.
